I started tattooing in 2016. Even before becoming a professional, I was already influenced by friends who kept asking me to draw designs in pen on their skin, as simulations of what would later become a tattoo. Over time, I ended up tattooing many of those same people — former classmates who became my first clients.
Tattooing truly flourished in my life when I started working at a tattoo supply distributor in Curitiba, in southern Brazil. That's where I learned so much of what I know today, and where I had the support of Bernadete, the shop's owner, who sold me my first tattoo kit and encouraged me to keep going. It was also through that job that I had direct contact with many professionals in the field — and that's where my final decision came from: this was what I wanted to do with my life.
